The Golden Mean
The golden mean is a composition technique in photography that makes photographs more appealing. In order to follow this technique you multiply the short side of the picture by 1.618 to get the long side of the picture. This creates a golden rectangle. Then you continuously split up this rectangle using the golden ratio 1:1.618 which in the end will create a spiral.
